WNBA Draft 2020 to be Held as Scheduled on April 17

March 26, 2020 - NEW YORK - The WNBA Draft 2020 presented by State Farm will be held on April 17 as scheduled. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the WNBA will conduct a virtual draft without players, guests, and media. WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert will announce the draft picks live on ESPN2 with coverage beginning at 8 p.m. ET, and top prospects will take part remotely. March 20, 2020 - Las Vegas - Las Vegas Aces General Manager Dan Padover announced today that the Aces signed six-year WNBA center Avery Warley-Talbert to a 2020 training camp contract. The Washington DC native played collegiately at Liberty University where she was named Big South Defensive Player of the Year as a junior in 2011, and was a two-time, First-Team All-Big South honoree.
