Diana Taurasi Undergoes Successful Surgery

April 25, 2019 - PHOENIX - On Wednesday, Mercury guard Diana Taurasi underwent a procedure on a disc protrusion in her back to alleviate symptoms of pain and muscle weakness. Mercury General Manager Jim Pitman: "Diana began experiencing symptoms during offseason workouts, notified us, and in conjunction with our medical staff determined the right course of action. Sky Sign Guard Allazia Blockton to Training Camp Contract

April 25, 2019 - CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky has signed 6-foot-0 guard Allazia Blockton to a training camp contract, the team announced. Blockton recently completed her collegiate career at Marquette University as the program's all-time leading scorer. She is the only player, male or female, in Marquette history to reach the 2,000-point mark, posting a total of 2,204 career points. April 22, 2019 - NEW YORK, April 22, 2019 - The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and CBS Sports announced today a multi-year partnership in which CBS Sports Network will televise live WNBA games beginning with the upcoming 2019 season.
