Philadelphia Union Loan Midfielder CJ Olney Jr. to Brooklyn FC
March 5, 2026 - CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has loaned Homegrown midfielder CJ Olney Jr. to USL side, Brooklyn FC, through 2026. The move reunites Olney with former Union II Head Coach, Marlon LeBlanc, under whom he will continue his development.

Leagues Cup Unveils 2026 Schedule, Sets Stage for Major Club Competition Post World Cup
March 5, 2026 - CHESTER, Pa. - The Philadelphia Union, in partnership with the Leagues Cup Organizing Committee, today announced their opponents and schedule for Phase One of Leagues Cup 2026, held following the FIFA World Cup. The Concacaf-sanctioned tournament, now in its fourth year, features 18 Major League Soccer clubs facing 18 LIGA MX teams.

Late Draw Eludes Union
March 1, 2026 - CHESTER, Pa. - The Philadelphia Union faced off against New York City FC on Saturday afternoon, falling 2-1. In the first half, Hannes Wolf opened the scoring for New York in the 36th minute. In the 89th minute, midfielder Indiana Vassilev converted a penalty kick to tie the match. New Yorks' Tayvon Gray scored the winning goal in the 99th minute. Despite the setback, the Union outshot New York 17-13 but were unable to find the equalizer.

March 1, 2026 - The Philadelphia Wings were the latest team to run into the wall that has been Georgia goaltender Brett Dobson this season, as the league's leading goaltender denied 39 of the 45 bids Philadelphia sent his way in an 11-6 Georgia victory at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Friday night.
