July 5, 2025 - CHESTER, Pa. - The Philadelphia Union fell 1-0 to Nashville SC on Saturday night at GEODIS Park. After a scoreless 90 minutes, the match was decided in second half stoppage time when Hany Mukhtar converted a penalty kick in the 90+11th minute. The Union recorded 11 shots but were unable to find the back of the net.
The Union return home to Subaru Park to face the New York Red Bulls in the U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals on Wednesday, July 9th (7:00 p.m. ET/ Paramount+).

July 2, 2025 - CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union Academy players Jamir Johnson and Malik Jakupovic have been named to the 2025 MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by Allstate. The match will take place on Monday, July 21 at 8:30 p.m. ET at Parmer Field, home of Austin FC II, and will stream live on MLS's YouTube channel. Johnson and Jakupovic helped lead the Union U-19 Academy squad to the quarterfinals of the 2025 MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs.

June 29, 2025 - CHESTER, Pa. - The Philadelphia Union's club-record 11-game MLS unbeaten streak came to an end on Sunday night with a 1-0 loss to Columbus Crew at Lower.com Field. Columbus defender Mohamed Farsi scored the game's only goal in first-half stoppage time. The defeat marks the Union's first loss since April 12, 2025. Homegrown players Sal Olivas and David Vazquez each made their MLS debut.

June 28, 2025 - CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has permanently transferred Homegrown forward Nelson Pierre to Vancouver Whitecaps 2 for an undisclosed fee and a percentage of a future transfer. Pierre was originally loaned to Vancouver on February 27, 2025.
A graduate of YSC Academy, Pierre signed a Homegrown contract with the Union on February 21, 2023, becoming the 20th Homegrown player in club history. He spent the 2023 season with Union II, scoring four goals and adding four assists in 28 appearances ... Full Story
