October 18, 2018 - Bridgewater, NJ - The Somerset Patriots have announced their schedule for the 2019 season, beginning at home on Friday, April 26th against the New Britain Bees at 7:05 pm.
The 140-game Atlantic League schedule will run from Friday, April 26th through Sunday, September 22nd with an even split of 70 home and road games.
The Patriots will host 33 weekend games at TD Bank Ballpark. Game times for Monday through Saturday games are set for 7:05 pm, except for weekday games in April, May and September, which will begin at 6:3... Full Story
October 15, 2018 - Bridgewater, N.J. - The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball has announced that Somerset Patriots President/General Manager Patrick McVerry has been named the 2018 Joe Klein Executive of the Year. The Somerset Patriots have also received the Ken Shepard Award For Promotional Excellence for the second consecutive season.
McVerry oversaw the Somerset Patriots' 20th Season at TD Bank Ballpark in 2018, where the team led the Atlantic League in total (369,119) and average attendance (5,127) for the second straight season.... Full Story
October 9, 2018 - Bridgewater, NJ - The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball announced Tuesday that shortstop Alfredo Rodriguez and relief pitcher Mike Antonini have been named to the 2018 Post-Season All-Star Team.
Rodriguez earns this selection after completing his second season with the Somerset Patriots. The everyday starting shortstop led the Patriots in games played (122), at-bats (432), hits (131), runs (69), and RBI (55). His .303 batting average ranked second on the team and 10th in the Atlantic League, while his .395 on-base ... Full Story
September 23, 2018 - Bridgewater, NJ - The Long Island Ducks (3-2) defeated the Somerset Patriots (2-3) 3-2 in ten innings in Game 5 of the Liberty Division Championship Series at TD Bank Ballpark on Sunday evening. With the win, the Ducks have won the Liberty Division Championship and will advance to the Atlantic League Championship.
The Ducks took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning on an RBI infield single by Rubi Silva.
Endy Chavez hit a two-run single in the bottom of the third inning to give the Patriots a 2-1 advantage... Full Story
