February 9, 2026 - CONEY ISLAND, BROOKLYN, N.Y. - On Thursday, February 5, Major League Baseball announced the official rosters for all 20 nations competing in the upcoming World Baseball Classic, to be held from March 5 to 17. Mets Announce 2026 Coaching Staff with Eduardo Nunez Set to Manage the Club

January 22, 2026 - BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The Brooklyn Cyclones, in collaboration with the New York Mets, have announced their coaching staff for the 2026 season. Eduardo Núñez will become the 16th manager in Cyclones history when the season kicks off on Friday, April 3, at Maimonides Park. Núñez enters his seventh season with the Mets organization and his first as manager of the Cyclones after serving as Brooklyn's hitting coach in 2024 and bench coach during the club's championship season in 2025. Carlos Beltran Elected to Baseball Hall of Fame - Becomes 1st Former Cyclone in Cooperstown

January 21, 2026 - Brooklyn, NY - Carlos Beltrán and Andruw Jones, who were born within one day of each other in 1977, moved even closer together Tuesday as the two center fielders were elected into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in voting by the Baseball Writers' Association of America and tabulated by Ernst & Young.
