January 6, 2026 - Charleston, WV -For the third year in a row the Salango Law Dirty Birds Light the Night presented by GoMart had an increase in attendance and community impact. The overall attendance for the six-week event was over 100,000 customers with the nightly average attendance being the highest recorded during the three-year event.

January 5, 2026 - Prospector Baseball Group (PBG) has announced the promotion of Michael Reynolds to Chief Executive Officer of the Lancaster Stormers and Alexandra Bunn to Vice President and Assistant General Manager of the club.
Reynolds previously served as President and General Manager, while Bunn was Vice President of Baseball Operations. This year, both will celebrate their 10th summer with the Lancaster Stormers and Penn Medicine Park.

December 19, 2025 - Waldorf, MD - The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs announced today the hiring of Brett Jodie as the team's new manager. Jodie brings extensive experience from both the Atlantic League and the American Association, including a championship title and seven playoff appearances.

Baseball America today is naming James Nelson as its "Independent Baseball Player of the Year." That means that professional baseball's most respected publication chose him as the best among all the players on 82 teams across nine leagues that are not directly affiliated with Major League Baseball teams.
