April 25, 2026 - GASTONIA, N.C. - The High Point Rockers were sitting with a comfortable 6-2 lead over Gastonia in the bottom of the fifth when the Ghost Peppers came to life, scoring 12 unanswered runs and going on to take an 18-8 win over the Rockers Saturday night at CaroMont Health Park.

Gastonia went up 1-0 in the bottom of the first when Grant Lavigne bounced into a run-scoring fielder's choice, scoring Nate Scantlin with the game's first run.
