May 7, 2025 - Charleston, SC - For the first time this season, the Charleston RiverDogs overcame an early deficit to beat the Columbia Fireflies 3-2 on Wednesday night at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park, in front of a crowd of 2,718 fans.
Now sitting at 12-17, the RiverDogs have a 2-0 lead in the series against the Fireflies and are on a season-long four-game winning streak.

May 7, 2025 - KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats used three pitchers that combined on a five-hit shutout as the Mudcats defeated the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Atrium Health Ballpark.
Carolina (20-8) scored the only run of the game in the top of the fourth inning when Luis Pena ripped a double to left field to score Eric Bitonti and give the Mudcats a 1-0 lead.

May 7, 2025 - MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday named Carolina Mudcats catcher Marco Dinges the clubs Minor League Player of the Month for the Month of April.
Dinges posted a slash line of .400/.523/.620 (20-for-50) with six doubles, one triple, one home run, 17 RBI and 10 runs over 15 games in April. Dinges also reached by safely in all 15 games and collected multiple hit efforts in six of those contest.

May 6, 2025 - Charleston, SC - The RiverDogs rode five shutout innings from Jayden Voelker to a shutout victory, defeating the Columbia Fireflies 4-0 on Tuesday night at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park in front of 4,172 fans.
After a quick five-pitch first inning from Voelker, Charleston (now 11-17) struck in the opening frame.
