January 28, 2026 - FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina --The Fayetteville Woodpeckers, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, announced today the on-field coaching staff for the 2026 season, led by returning Manager Carlos Lugo.

December 12, 2025 - The Fayetteville Woodpeckers announced their start times for the 2026 campaign. Aligning with last season's game times, the club will start Tuesday through Thursday games at 6:35 p.m., Friday & Saturday games at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday games at 5:05 p.m.

December 9, 2025 - HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Astros announced today that they have agreed to sell the Sugar Land Space Cowboys (Triple-A), Corpus Christi Hooks (Double-A) and Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Single-A) to Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH), an organization that owns and operates select Minor League Baseball clubs affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB).
