Courage Draw Portland in Four-Goal Battle

April 5, 2026 - With the teams splitting four first-half goals, the North Carolina Courage played the Portland Thorns to a 2-2 draw in front of a 7,018 fans at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., Saturday evening.
North Carolina's record moved to 1-1-2 for five points while Portland is now 3-1-1 for 10 points. The Thorns are 1-0-3 against the Courage the past four matches with draws the last three times they've played.

April 4, 2026 - CARY, N.C. - The North Carolina Courage drew the Portland Thorns, 2-2, in a four-goal thriller at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park.
Reilyn Turner opened the scoring in the 12', heading home a recycled set-piece opportunity at the far post following a cross from Jayden Perry.

Courage Host Portland Thorns in Rivalry Match
April 3, 2026 - CARY, N.C. - The North Carolina Courage wrap up a two-game home stand on Saturday, April 4, against the Portland Thorns. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET and the match will be broadcast on ION. Tickets are available here.
The Courage enter the rivalry matchup looking to bounce back from a 3-1 loss against Bay FC. The loss put the Courage at 1W-1L-1D on the season. The Thorns head to Cary with a 3-1-0 record, beating Kansas City Current 2-0 at Providence Park last weekend.

Rough Start Costs Courage against Bay FC

March 29, 2026 - The North Carolina Courage surrendered three first half goals in the opening 34 minutes and lost to Bay FC 3-1 in front of 7,013 fans at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., Saturday evening.
The Courage's record moved to 1-1-1 for four points while Bay FC improved to 2-1-0 for six points. Bay FC picked up its first road victory since April 19, 2025 which was a 1-0 victory against the Courage.
