NCFC knocked out of 2025 USL Championship post-season in round two
November 8, 2025 - CARY, N.C. - North Carolina FC fell to Rhode Island FC, 0-2, Saturday evening at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in the USL Championship Eastern Conference Semifinals, ending NCFC's playoff run.
Both teams had chances to score early in the tightly contested playoff matchup, but it was Rhode Island who struck first late in the second half.

Manaka Matsukubo Named NWSL Player of the Month
November 6, 2025 - CARY, N.C. - North Carolina Courage midfielder Manaka Matsukubo has been named the NWSL Player of the Month, presented by EA SPORTS, for October/November, the league office announced Thursday.
Manaka scored a league-leading five goals during the final month of the 2025 NWSL regular season, including a historic hat trick against Bay FC. The three-goal haul in the Courage's penultimate match of the season marked the youngest hat trick in league history.

November 4, 2025 - The North Carolina Courage defeated Gotham FC 3-2 in front of a record crowd 11,170 fans at a rainy First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., Sunday evening. A record-breaking 107,931 fans filled the stands this season.
Despite the victory, the Courage did not qualify for the post-season, finishing with a 9-9-8 record for 32 points and 9th place in the NWSL standings.
