June 30, 2026 - GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Greensboro Grasshoppers defeated the Bowling Green Hot Rods, 9-4, in the opening game of their home series on Tuesday, June 30. June 30, 2026 - GREENSBORO, NC - The Greensboro Gargoyles were finalists in two categories at the ECHL Awards on Wednesday night at the Bridgestone Arena during the 2026 ECHL Hockey Summer Meetings in Nashville, TN. The Gargoyles were awarded Marketing Team of the Year, taking home the honor after their work promoting the team's Inaugural Season. First Horizon Coliseum to Host Carolina Hurricanes Preseason Game

June 26, 2026 - GREENSBORO, NC - The Carolina Hurricanes, Greensboro Gargoyles, and First Horizon Coliseum have announced that the defending Stanley Cup champion Hurricanes will hit the ice in Greensboro for a preseason NHL game at First Horizon Coliseum on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. against the Nashville Predators.
