April 30, 2025 - Aberdeen, Maryland - Gary Gill Hill's 5.0 solid innings and Ryan Spikes' ninth inning homer boosted the Bowling Green Hot Rods (12-11) to a 2-1 win over the Aberdeen IronBirds (9-13) on Wednesday at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland.
Bowling Green broke onto the scoreboard in the top of the second inning against Aberdeen starter Ty Weatherly. Noah Myers worked a leadoff walk and stole second. Two outs later, Jhon Diaz tripled to right, scoring Myers to make it a 1-0 Hot Rods lead.

April 30, 2025 - GREENVILLE, SC - The Asheville Tourists snapped a five-game losing streak by taking down the Greenville Drive 6-5 on Wednesday night at Fluor Field.
Backed by great starting pitching, Alain Pena (W, 1-3) went the longest of any arm on the Tourists (9-13) staff this year. Tossing in six innings, he held the Drive (10-12) to just one run on two hits and one walk, while racking up seven strikeouts.
Igniting the scoring in the second inning, a wild pitch brought home Kenni Gomez to make it a 1-0 Asheville lead.

April 30, 2025 - SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Keith Jones Sr. was only planning on spending a week in South Carolina.
After two, he heads back west with a baseball and a memory to cherish forever.
Keith Jones II was just two years old when his father, Jones Sr., put a baseball bat in his hands for the first time. Jones II would sit in the living room taking hacks at a toy ball his dad would toss - trying to drive the ball through window openings in the house.

Casey Cook provided the crucial contact with an RBI single in the final inning.
