Savannah Bananas' Baseball League to Play Series at Fifth Third Park in 2026
 October 28, 2025 - SPARTANBURG, S.C. - As the Spartanburgers prepare to honor baseball's storied history in Spartanburg during the 2026 season, the 'Burgers have broken new ground. For the first time ever, "Banana Ball" is coming to the Hub City. As announced by the Bananas during their City Selection Show, Fifth Third Park will host a series of the Banana Ball Championship League August 6-8.

Four Spartanburgers Named South Atlantic League All-Stars
 September 17, 2025 - SPARTANBURG, S.C. - After the conclusion of the South Atlantic League season, in which Hub City finished as runners-up to the Brooklyn Cyclones, Major League Baseball has named four Spartanburgers to the SAL All-Star Team. Four former Hub City players were honored: pitchers David Davalillo, Josh Trentadue and Eric Loomis, and outfielder Keith Jones II. The Spartanburgers are one of two High-A teams to have three pitchers honored (Vancouver Canadians - Toronto).

The Cyclones claimed their first South Atlantic League title with the win. Hub City finished its season the same way it started, in front of a raucous crowd at Fifth Third Park.
