July 12, 2026 - SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Another well-pitched contest wrapped up the series between Bowling Green and Hub City. After Hub City won a one-run game Saturday, the Hot Rods (13-8, 60-26) beat the Spartanburgers (6-15, 40-47) 4-0 Sunday at Fifth Third Park. The Spartanburgers were held without a baserunner through the first five innings by Bowling Green starter Jacob Kisting (W, 5-0). Hub City starter DJ McCarty (L, 2-5) matched with a scoreless first. July 11, 2026 - SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Hub City dropped the first four contests of the week to Bowling Green and gave up a late lead Saturday. The Spartanburgers (6-14, 40-46) bounced back in the 10th to beat the Hot Rods (12-8, 59-26) with a walk-off sacrifice fly from Carter Garate. After A.J. Russell faced the minimum in the top of the first, Yeison Morrobel ambushed the first pitch from Bowling Green starter Trevor Harrison. Hub City Drops Weather-Shortened Contest to Bowling Green

July 10, 2026 - SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Spartanburgers never held a lead across the first three games of the week against the Hot Rods. That changed on Friday night when a pair of home runs powered Hub City (5-14, 39-46) to a 2-0 lead. Bowling Green (12-7, 59-25) wiped that lead away in the final two innings to win 4-2.
