Asheville's Cam Fisher Named SAL Player of the Week
April 23, 2024 - ASHEVILLE - The South Atlantic League announced Cam Fisher as the Player of the Week for the week of April 15-21. In four games played, Fisher went 7-for-17 with four Home Runs, two doubles, seven runs scored, nine RBI, two walks, and a stolen base. Fisher's week was highlighted by a 3-for-4 performance on April 17 that included three Home Runs and six RBI. Sunday's Tourists Game Postponed
April 21, 2024 - ASHEVILLE - Today's game between the Asheville Tourists and the Rome Emperors has been postponed due to poor field conditions because of the weather. The game will be made up as part of a single admission doubleheader on Thursday, May 16. Game one of the doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 5:35pm ET but is subject to change. April 20, 2024 - ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists fell to the Rome Emperors 10-4 on Saturday night. The game was much closer than the final score would indicate as Asheville kept it close until the ninth inning. Manuel Urias pitched well in his second start of the season. April 19, 2024 - ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists lost a tough one to the Rome Emperors Friday night, 14-11. Asheville built an early 2-0 lead before Rome scored 12 straight runs to blow the game open. The Tourists then rallied for nine runs over the final three innings but ultimately fell short.
