Dombroski's Dominant July Continues in Tourists' Win

July 26, 2024 - GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists' lone left-handed pitcher, Trey Dombroski, has turned his 2024 season into high gear. Dombroski tossed five innings against one of the most potent offenses in the South Atlantic League Friday night, and did not surrender an earned run. Narbe Cruz and the Asheville offense backed up their starter and the Tourists evened up the series with a 6-4 win. Dombroski lowered his ERA in the month of July to a miniscule 0.92. Grasshoppers Down Tourists Despite Late Blasts by Cruz and Carrillo

July 26, 2024 - GREENSBORO - The top two Home Run hitting teams in the South Atlantic League, the Asheville Tourists and the Greensboro Grasshoppers, were back at it again on Thursday night. Greensboro belted a trio of Home Runs while Asheville added two of their own late. In the end the Grasshoppers defeated the Tourists by a final score of 12-3. Swanson's Start Sends Tourists Back into the Win Column

July 24, 2024 - GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists snapped their six-game losing skid on Wednesday evening with an impressive 5-1 win over the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Nic Swanson matched a season-high with six innings pitched while Anthony Sherwin and Cam Fisher each belted a Home Run for the Tourists. Sherwin's longball in the top of the third opened the scoring. Johnson's 9th Inning Heroics Force Extras But T's Drop 6th Straight

July 24, 2024 - GREENSBORO - The Asheville Tourists and the Greensboro Grasshoppers combined to hit nine Home Runs on Tuesday night and it was Greensboro's walk-off Grand Slam in the 11th inning that did the most damage. The Tourists tied a season-high with five Homers, all solo shots, but fell by a final score of 9-5.
