September 11, 2025 - Bowling Green, Kentucky - The Bowling Green Hot Rods (0-2) season came to a close with a crushing 10-5, 10-inning loss to the Hub City Spartanburgers (2-0) on Thursday night at Bowling Green Ballpark in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Hot Rods Game Notes South Atlantic League Divisional Round Game Two

September 11, 2025 - Ghosts of Game One... The Hot Rods dropped the first game of the SAL Divisional Series to the Spartanburgers on Tuesday, 3-1. Bowling Green jumped out to an early lead on an Angel Mateo RBI double in the fourth, but Hub City came roaring back. In the bottom of the fifth, John Taylor knocked in a run with a single, while Antonis Macias plated another with a sacrifice fly, giving Hub City a 2-1 lead. September 9, 2025 - Spartanburg, South Carolina - Angel Mateo knocked in the only run for the Bowling Green Hot Rods (0-1) in the series-opener, dropping the first game of the SAL Divisional Series, 1-0, to the Hub City Spartanburgers (1-0) on Tuesday at Fifth Third Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Hot Rods Game Notes South Atlantic League Divisional Round Game One

September 9, 2025 - The Stage is Set... The Hot Rods make the 12th playoff appearance in franchise history, taking on the Hub City Spartanburgers in the first round of the South Atlantic League Playoffs. Bowling Green enters fresh off a second-half title, edging out Hub City, as well as the Greenville Drive. The Hot Rods captured titles in both halves, going 34-30 in the first half, and 35-31 in the second half.
