2026 Staff Revealed, Valenzuela Jr. Returns for Fourth Season

January 29, 2026 - Bowling Green, Kentucky - The Bowling Green Hot Rods are excited to announce the field staff for the upcoming 2026 season. Rafael Valenzuela Jr. returns to Bowling Green Ballpark for his fourth season, alongside with six other familiar staffers and one new member. Valenzuela Jr. has experienced a vast amount of success during his time in Bowling Green. Bowling Green Revamps Bootleggers for 10th Anniversary

January 22, 2026 - Bowling Green, Kentucky - Since 2016, the Bowling Green Hot Rods have taken the field as the Bootleggers. With the 10th anniversary fast approaching, Bowling Green will roll out a new look for the Bootleggers in 2026, paying homage to the rich heritage of bootlegging and bourbon in our great state of Kentucky. Bowling Green Announces 2026 Ballot for Hot Rods Hall of Fame

November 3, 2025 - Bowling Green, Kentucky - The Bowling Green Hot Rods are thrilled to introduce the 2026 Hot Rods Hall of Fame Ballot. This is the third time the voting has opened, and the first time since 2019 when Blake Snell was inducted. Prior to Opening Day on April 3, 2026, at least one former player or coach of the Bowling Green Hot Rods will be selected into the 2026 Hot Rods Hall of Fame class. 2018 MWL Champion Craig Albernaz Named Orioles Skipper

October 27, 2025 - Bowling Green, Kentucky - Craig Albernaz, manager of the 2018 Midwest League Championship team for the Bowling Green Hot Rods, has been named the manager of the Baltimore Orioles. This is the second former manager in Hot Rods history to be named manager at the MLB level.
