July 20, 2017 - GASTONIA - Three Belmont Abbey Crusaders had a major role in the Gastonia Grizzlies' win over Forest City on Tuesday night at Sims Legion Park. Right-handed pitcher Blake Waldren shut down the Owls for five scoreless innings, while Nick Beinlich and Thomas Yoder scored a run each to give Gastonia a 3-0 win. July 5, 2017 - Gastonia, NC- The first July 4th contest in Gastonia Grizzlies history ended well for the home club, as they defeated the Savannah Bananas by a score of 4-2 on Independence Day.
