River Dragons Return 3 from Loan

FPHL Columbus River Dragons January 20, 2021 - Columbus, GA - The Columbus River Dragons are returning three players from their loans in the SPHL. Forwards Chase Fallis and Austin Daae as well as goaltender Frankie McClendon have been waived by the Birmingham Bulls and have been placed back on the River Dragons roster for the 2021 season. Fallis appeared in two games for Birmingham, Daae appeared in one and McClendon served as the team's backup goaltender for two games last weekend against Pensacola (shootout win) and Huntsville (loss). River Dragons Sign Schultz for 2021 Season

FPHL Columbus River Dragons January 18, 2021 - Columbus, GA - The Columbus River Dragons are thrilled to announce the signing of defenseman Jake Schultz for the 2021 season. Schultz is in his 4th year pro and comes very decorated and battle-tested. Last season he split time between the ECHL (Wheeling and Indy) and the SPHL (Roanoke). FPHL Columbus River Dragons January 15, 2021 - Columbus, GA - The Columbus River Dragons have made six additions to their Call-Up/Loan list and are returning two players from the same list. The Knoxville Ice Bears waived forward Josh Pietrantonio and goaltender Hayden Stewart. They have been re-added to the River Dragons roster in advance of the 2021 season. FPHL Season Announced with Staggered Start; River Dragons Start on Hold

FPHL Columbus River Dragons January 12, 2021 - Columbus, GA - The Columbus River Dragons have been informed by the Federal Prospects Hockey League that the 2021 regular season will be played under a staggered start format. The Elmira Enforcers and Watertown Wolves will begin their season on February 3rd while all other teams will start at a later date to be determined.
