FPHL Topeka Scarecrows July 24, 2025 - Today the Topeka Scarecrows of the Federal Prospects Hockey League are proud to announce they have signed Forward Quinn O'Reilly and Defenseman Gordon Whalen ahead of the Scarecrows Inaugural Season. O'Reilly, a 22-year-old forward from Wichita,KS, joins the Scarecrows after spending last season in Danville joining the FPHL after starting the year with the Kalkaska Battlers where he put up 17 points in 10 games. FPHL Topeka Scarecrows July 17, 2025 - Today the Topeka Scarecrows of the Federal Prospects Hockey League are proud to announce they have signed Forward Jakub Volf ahead of the Scarecrows Inaugural Season. Volf, a 28-year-old forward from Pisek, CZE, joins the Scarecrows after spending four of his last six seasons in the FPHL. Jakub began his career in Battle Creek, Mi for the Rumble Bees where he posted 8 points in 20 games before moving onto the Mentor Ice Breakers. FPHL Topeka Scarecrows July 11, 2025 - Today the Topeka Scarecrows and the Baton Rouge Zydeco of the Federal Prospects Hockey League have made a trade as Elijah Wilson comes to Topeka in Exchange for Ross Bartlett and two players to be named later go back to Baton Rouge.
