August 5, 2025 - COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Columbus River Dragons are proud to announce the return of defenseman Brodie Thornton for the 2025-26 season.
Thornton, 26, was acquired from the Baton Rouge Zydeco on March 10, 2025, in a trade for goaltender Samuel Bernard. He recorded three assists in nine games with Columbus during the final stretch of the season, while adding two helpers in six playoff games.
A standout at the ACHA level with Adrian College, the 6-foot, 180-pound defenseman tallied 72 points (23 goals, 49 assists) in 110 games... Full Story

Colten, 32, was acquired by the Wolves on May 22, 2025, through the Motor City Rockers dispersal draft. In 167 regular-season games with the Rockers, Colten was a standout performer, tallying 126 points (34g, 92a). Gotimer, 27, joins the River Dragons from the ECHL's Atlanta Gladiators, where he called 170+ games on Flo Hockey, MixLR, YouTube, and the Peachtree Sports Network. As a member of the Gladiators, Liam consistently brought the action to life, captivating fans with his energetic commentary and live interactions throughout each game.

The schedule features 28 home games and 28 away games, totaling 56 regular-season games for the 2025-26 season. For the first time ever, all River Dragons home games at the Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, GA will be on Friday and Saturday evenings, with Friday games scheduled for 7:35 p.m. and Saturday games at 7:05 p.m.
