October 13, 2025 - Monroe, LA - The Monroe Moccasins are proud to announce Everett Thompson as the organization's new Youth Hockey Director, a leadership role dedicated to developing and expanding youth hockey opportunities across Monroe and the surrounding region. October 1, 2025 - Monroe, LA - The Monroe Moccasins announced today that Russ Parent has been named the team's new Head Coach ahead of the 2025-26 season. Parent now takes the helm behind the bench, bringing with him a deep connection to both the game and the city of Monroe. A former draft pick of the New York Rangers, Parent played four seasons with the original Monroe Moccasins, including two years as a player-assistant coach.

September 26, 2025 - Monroe, LA - The Monroe Moccasins announced today the signing of forward Michael Moran for the 2025-26 Federal Prospects Hockey League season.
Moran, a 6'1", 194-pound forward from Milford, Massachusetts, joins the Moccasins after spending the last several seasons in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) with the Quad City Storm. In 2024-25, Moran appeared in 48 games with Quad City, recording 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points, while adding 56 penalty minutes. Over his SPHL career, he has skated in 185 games,... Fornaris, 30, is a Miami, Florida native who brings both experience and production to Monroe's forward group. The 5'9", 168-pound left-shot forward has appeared in over 140 professional games across the ECHL and SPHL, registering over 80 career points at the pro level.
