Weekend Preview: Wolves vs. Black Bears

January 13, 2026 - In what seems to be a never ending battle, the Wolves and Binghamton Black Bears will square off again this weekend for a home and home series. This will be the 11th and 12th games between the two this seasons. Friday night the scene will be the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton at 7:00pm, with the action shifting to the Watertown Municipal Arena on Saturday evening at 7:30pm. Weekend Preview: Wolves vs. Hat Tricks

January 7, 2026 - The second week of the new year finds the Wolves heading east to battle divisional foe Danbury Hat Tricks for two games in the Danbury Ice Arena. The teams have met seven times already in the '25-'26 season, with the Hat Tricks holding a slight edge in wins, 4-3. For the Hat Tricks entering the weekend, it will be all eyes on their veteran captain Jonny Ruiz as he sits just one goal shy of 200 career goals. Binghamton Strikes Back

January 4, 2026 - Coming off a big upset win on Friday night after ending the Black Bears fifteen game win streak, the Wolves came into the evening knowing it would take another gritty performance to back up last nights win. A fire Monday morning in the compressor room at the Watertown Municipal Arena caused some issues for the ice crew that threatened to delay or postpone the game, but the crew lead by Jerry Romig, did a fantastic job of getting the place ready to play. Wolves Defeat Black Bears Winning Streak in Watertown

January 3, 2026 - The Watertown Wolves began the New Year hosting the league leading Binghamton Black Bears on this Friday evening. The first of a two set weekend between the New York State rivals. The Black Bears entered the weekend on a fifteen game win streak, and are a perfect 8-0 against the Wolves this season. The Black Bears Gavin Yates would net the first goal of the game at the 6:43 mark assisted by Dan Wieber and CJ Stubbs, put Binghamton up 1-0.
