Kingston Frontenacs Mourn the Loss of Wayne Burns

October 12, 2019 - The Ontario Hockey League family is deeply saddened by the loss of long-time off-ice official and Kingston Frontenacs official scorekeeper Wayne Burns who passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, October 6th at the age of 70. Wayne served as the Frontenacs' official scorekeeper over a span of 46 years, getting his start with the Kingston Canadians at the old Kingston Memorial Centre in 1973. Wright Scores Two in OT Win over IceDogs

October 11, 2019 - One week ago, the Kingston Frontenacs and the Niagara IceDogs met in a track meet in St. Catharines. It was the IceDogs riding a five goal first period to an 8-4 victory over the Frontenacs. The power play was to thank for a big win by the home team. Kingston was only able to kill off 3 of their 7 minor penalties which, in the end, was the difference in the game. Fronts Force OT in 3-2 Loss to 67's

September 27, 2019 - It was a long gap between games for the Kingston Frontenacs. They opened the season one full week ago against the Oshawa Generals with a 4-1 loss. They were hoping that patience was a virtue as they looked for their first win of the season against the visiting Ottawa 67's. Ottawa had already entered the win column twice on the new season. Both wins came with a little bit of stress as they defeated Guelph and Owen Sound in shootouts on Opening Weekend. Those wins were good enough to move them into the top spot in the CHL Top ... Kingston Acquires Draft Pick from Saginaw

September 25, 2019 - Kingston - The Kingston Frontenacs have acquired a 10th rd pick in 2021 from the Saginaw Spirit in exchange for Marshall Frappier. Frappier has played in 42 career OHL games with Sudbury and Kingston. Last year with Kingston he recorded a 4.67 GAA and a 0.867 Save %. "We wish Marshall all the best with his new team and his career moving forward" said GM Darren Keily. The Frontenacs host the Ottawa 67's this coming Friday night at Leon's Centre. Game time is 7 pm.
