January 8, 2026 - The Hat Tricks are officially at the halfway point of the 2025-26 schedule following a 5-3 victory over the Pee Dee IceCats on Jan. 3. With a 9-15-3-1 record through 28 games, Danbury has fallen short of some preseason expectations, sitting outside the playoff picture at the midpoint. Those expectations were clearly defined before the season began in an interview with captain Jonny Ruiz. Hat Tricks Trade Alexander Legkov to Pee Dee IceCats

January 6, 2026 - The Danbury Hat Tricks announced that forward Alexander Legkov has been traded to the Pee Dee IceCats in exchange for forward Eli Rivers, goaltender Ricardo Gonzalez and financial considerations. The team also sent the rights to Drew Welsch to Pee Dee as part of the deal. Legkov, 21, appeared in 28 games for Danbury this season. The rookie led the team with 19 goals and 24 assists for 43 points. With a 1.5 points-per-game average, he is on pace for 84 points, which would have been the second-most in a single season in tea... Hat Tricks Snap Loss Streak in 5-3 Win over Pee Dee

January 3, 2026 - Florence, SC - After going winless in eight-straight, the Hat Tricks broke through, earning their first victory since December 6th, during their third consecutive match against the PeeDee Ice Cats. Hat Tricks grabbed an early 1-0 lead for the second straight night when Alexander Legkov buried an unassisted backhand through PeeDee's defense at 2:53.
