Stormers Add Outfielder

June 17, 2025 - The Lancaster Stormers have added outfielder Evan Alexander, it was announced today by manager Ross Peeples. Alexander, 27, played in the New York Yankees organization from 2016 until early in the 2022 season. Since then, he has played in the American Association with Fargo- Moorhead and Winnipeg. The native of the Dallas, Texas area batted .230 with 14 homers and 47 steals in 269 games in the New York system, peaking at Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at the beginning of 2022. Stormers Fall In Eighth

June 15, 2025 - Following two rain delays, and a five-inning scoring drought for both clubs, the Charleston Dirty Birds found a way to pull out Sunday's contest in the late innings. Travis Demeritte doubled home Joseph Rosa with one out in the eighth as the Dirty Birds knocked off the Lancaster Stormers, 4-3, in the rubber game of a three-game set at GoMart Ballpark. Hill Dominates Stormers

June 14, 2025 - Jamison Hill became the first opposing starting pitcher in 359 days to reach double digits in strikeouts. He did it in dominating fashion. Hill yielded only three singles in six shutout innings as the Charleston Dirty Birds flew past the Lancaster Stormers, 10-1, in the middle game of a three-game series at GoMart Ballpark. June 13, 2025 - The Lancaster offense peaked again on Friday evening. Andrew Semo drove in four runs, and Blake Mayberry added a three-run triple as the Stormers took down the Charleston Dirty Birds, 15-6, in the opener of a three-game series at GoMart Ballpark. Lancaster has averaged nearly nine runs in its wins this season and 15 in the last six victories. This time the offense surged late.
