July 26, 2024 - (Hershey, PA) - The 2024 Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears announced today that the club has signed forward Erik Middendorf to an AHL contract for the 2024-25 season. The announcement was made by Hershey vice president of hockey operations Bryan Helmer. Middendorf, 24, split time last season with the Utica Comets and the ECHL's Adirondack Thunder. July 24, 2024 - (Hershey, PA) - The 2024 Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears announced today that the club has re-signed forward Matt Strome to a two-year American Hockey League contract that runs through the 2025-26 season. The announcement was made by Hershey vice president of hockey operations Bryan Helmer. July 19, 2024 - (Hershey, PA) - The 2024 Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears announced today that the club has signed forward Brett Hyland to an American Hockey League contract for the 2024-25 season. Hyland, 21, enjoyed a career-year with the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings, leading the team with 59 points, and pacing the club with 32 goals. July 18, 2024 - (Hershey, PA) - The 2024 Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears announced today that the club has signed forwards Grant Cruikshank, Austin Magera, Micah Miller, Justin Nachbaur, and Tyler Weiss, as well as defenseman Jayden Lee to American Hockey League contracts for the 2024-25 season. Cruikshank, 25, played in 19 games for the Toronto Marlies in 2023-24, scoring four points (1g, 3a).
