Comets Welcome Back Defensive Star Guerrero Pino

July 25, 2024 - INDEPENDENCE, MO. - The reigning Eastern Conference Champion Kansas City Comets made a big splash in the free agent market today by announcing the signing of MASL eight-year veteran defender and UMKC alum Guerrero Pino to a contract. The new deal returns Pino to the team he began his MASL career with in 2016. Per team and league policies, the terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Defender Moises Hernandez Returns to Sidekicks, Re-Signs Until 2026

July 24, 2024 - Allen, Texas - The Dallas Sidekicks have announced the re-signing of Guatemalan Defender, Moises Hernandez, until 2026. The 2023-2024 season marked Hernandez's first season with the Sidekicks and in the MASL. Per team and league guidelines, additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed. July 20, 2024 - INDEPENDENCE, MO. - Today, MASL Eastern Conference Champion Kansas City Comets have announced the signing Parkville, MO native Jacob Garza to a new contract. As per team and league policies, the terms of the deal with the midfielder were not disclosed. The forward appeared in 10 regular-season games plus an additional five in the playoffs for the Comets. July 19, 2024 - Ontario, Calif. - The Empire Strykers today announced they have signed goalkeeper Claysson De Lima through the 2026-27 Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) campaign. The transaction marks a major milestone for Empire, as De Lima is a fan favorite who previously spent six seasons with the club.
