CHARLES, MO - The Kansas City Comets clinched a share of the I-70 Series Cup for the sixth consecutive season, using a shootout to defeat the St. Louis Ambush 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at Family Arena. The game was far from pretty, but the Comets never trailed as they took a 3-0 lead in the six-game series against their Show-Me State rivals. St. Louis Ambush Lose Shootout Heartbreaker to the Comets

December 21, 2025 - St. Charles, Missouri - The St. Louis Ambush lost a shootout heartbreaker to the Kansas City Comets Sunday afternoon at The Family Arena. The loss dropped the Ambush to 2-2-1 on the season and improved Kansas City to 5-2-0. The first quarter remained scoreless until the twelfth and thirteenth minutes, when Henry Ramirez and Michael Lenis gave Kansas City at 2-0 lead with goals less than two minutes apart. December 21, 2025 - TACOMA, WA. - The Tacoma Stars (3-0-0) opened the 2025-26 season with their third consecutive home win, this time a 3-2 victory over the visiting Empire Strykers (1-3-0). For Empire, it was their second loss in two days after playing at home last night against St. Louis before traveling to the accesso ShoWare Center less than 24 hours later.
