January 8, 2026 - The Kansas City Mavericks earned a 5-2 win over the Tulsa Oilers on Wednesday night, Jan. 7, at Cable Dahmer Arena. Tulsa opened the scoring at 2:52 of the first period, but Kansas City responded with five goals the rest of the way to secure the victory. January 5, 2026 - Jack LaFontaine is the ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Dec. 29-Jan. 4. It is the third time in his career that he has received the weekly honor. LaFontaine went 3-0-0 with one shutout, a 1.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .969 in three appearances Maine last week. Comets Drop Shootout Decision to Ambush

January 4, 2026 - INDEPENDENCE, MO - The Kansas City Comets fell for a second straight time against the St. Louis Ambush, dropping a 7-6 result on Sunday in a shootout on home turf. After turning a multi-goal deficit in the first quarter into numerous second-half leads, the Comets left Cable Dahmer Arena full of disappointment.
