Comets Re-Sign Nathan Durdle

June 6, 2025 - The Kansas City Comets are opening the 2025-26 MASL free agency period by locking down rookie sensation Nathan Durdle to a two-year contract extension. As per team and league policies, the terms of the deal were not disclosed. Durdle showed great versatility in his rookie campaign with the Comets last season. His role increased as the season grew, scoring five goals and assisting once while making 14 of his 15 appearances in the final two-thirds of the season. Four Comets Named to Team USA for WMF World Cup

May 17, 2025 - The Kansas City Comets will be well represented on the international stage this month, as four players have been named to the U.S. Men's National Minifootball Team for the 2025 WMF World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, taking place May 21 to June 1. Team USA, led by head coach Craig Rhodis, has called upon Zach Reget, Chad Vandegriffe, Stefan Mijatovic and Leo Acosta for international duty. Comets Shine in MASL Awards, Vandegriffe Named Defender of the Year

April 15, 2025 - The Major Arena Soccer League has announced Kansas City Comets defender Chad Vandegriffe as the 2024-25 MASL Defender of the Year, headlining a group of four Comets players named to the All-MASL Teams. Vandegriffe also earned selections to the Elite Six and All-MASL First Team after leading the league with 81 blocks.
