Kansas City Comets' Leo Gibson Earns MASL Honors

April 24, 2018 - KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Comets legend Leo Gibson was named the inaugural winner of the Major Arena Soccer League's (MASL) Ed Tepper Humanitarian Award in an announcement this afternoon. This is the first award of its kind for the MASL and Gibson earns it with his work with the local Kansas City community and with his charity, Kick for Christ. March 14, 2018 - KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Comets forward Leo Gibson was named 3rd Team All-MASL today by the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). Gibson finished the season with 58 points (30 goals, 28 assists). He was third in the league in points, second in assists and sixth in goals scored. The Comets' Nacho Flores earned Honorable Mention for his play in his sophomore season. He earned 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists) throughout the season. March 4, 2018 - KANSAS CITY - The Kansas City Comets finished off their 2017-2018 campaign with a big 10-6 victory in front of 4,000+ fans at home tonight. Leo Gibson led all scorers with three goals and two assists, while captain Bryan Perez chipped in with a goal and two more assists.
