CHARLES, Missouri - The long weekend for the Kansas City Comets came to a disappointing close this afternoon in front of 4,750 fans at The Family Arena in the suburbs of St. Louis this afternoon. Kiel Williams and Lucas Rodriguez each had two goals and Leo Gibson scored a highlight reel worthy bicycle kick for the Comets, however it wasn't enough as they fall in the overtime period. Alain Matingou led Kansas City with 2 goals on the night, but the Wave's offensive front proved too much for the Comets.
