October 21, 2024 - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Kansas City Monarchs baseball returns Friday, May 9. That's the date of the Monarchs' 2025 home opener, confirmed Monday with the release of the club's schedule for the upcoming season. The four-time league champions will open the season at home for the first time since 2022, taking on the Lincoln Saltdogs from Legends Field in Kansas City, Kansas. Blue KC Donates $9,000 to Negro Leagues Baseball Museum

September 10, 2024 - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A season-long effort has come to fruition for Blue KC, the American Association Kansas City Monarchs, and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) is donating $9,000 to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum as part of the 'Homers for History' campaign. September 1, 2024 - SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Seven is becoming the Kansas City Monarchs' lucky number. Another big seventh inning lifted the Monarchs to a come-from-behind win, 10-6 over the Sioux Falls Canaries from The Birdcage. Justin O'Conner hit a three-run home run in the ninth to seal the victory, his second three-run blast in as many days. August 31, 2024 - SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Kansas City Monarchs hit five home runs to erase a 7-1 deficit and defeat the Sioux Falls Canaries 11-7 Saturday night from Sioux Falls Stadium. Trailing by six after five innings, the Monarchs hit one longball in the sixth and left the yard four times in a nine-run seventh.
