- Another season-long effort has come to fruition for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, the American Association Kansas City Monarchs, and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
Blue KC is donating $8,000 to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum as part of the 'Homers for History' campaign.
For every home run the Monarchs hit during the 2025 season, Blue KC donated $50. The Monarchs hit 108 home runs this season compared to the 88 home runs they hit in 2024. Blue KC has chosen to round up their dona... Full Story
September 5, 2025 - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Yoyner Fajardo wrote himself into Kansas City Monarchs history in a season- saving performance.
Fajardo and the Monarchs put together a stellar rally in the bottom of the 15th inning. Fajardo scored the game-winning run in a 4-3 win over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.
The win forces a win-or-go-home Game 3 on Saturday night at 6:35 p.m. Tickets are available at MonarchsBaseball.com.

September 4, 2025 - FARGO, N.D. - Blake Goldsberry threw 6.1 strong innings, but the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks topped the Kansas City Monarchs 1-0 in Game 1 of the best-of-three American Association West Division Series.
The Monarchs trail 1-0 in the first-round playoff tilt with Game 2 scheduled for Friday night at Legends Field. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. with postgame fireworks. Tickets are available now at MonarchsBaseball.com.

Brantley Bell and Robbie Glendinning have both been named to the American Association's Post- Season All-Star Team. Bell has been named the league's second baseman of the year and Glendinning is this year's AAPB utility player of the year.
The Monarchs (59-41) finished the regular season with the second-most wins in the league. Their first playoff game is Wednesday night in Fargo, followed by their home play... Full Story
