October 5, 2025 - Sporting Kansas City II (3-19-6, 17 points) slipped in a 3-1 defeat at MNUFC 2 (12-10-6, 44 points) on Sunday in a Decision Day duel at National Sports Center Stadium in Blaine, Minnesota. Anthony Samways scored his second goal of the campaign on Carter Derksen's first professional assist, but the second-half comeback effort fell short. October 3, 2025 - Sporting Kansas City II announced today that the club has signed Sporting Kansas City Academy player Jack Francka to an MLS NEXT Pro amateur contract ahead of Sunday's MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day matchup against MNUFC 2. Amateur contracts are signed on a single-game basis, preserving Francka's NCAA eligibility.
