December 13, 2025 - Orange County SC is proud to announce that Pedro Guimaraes, one of its standout Next Wave prospects, will rejoin the squad for the 2026 season. Having joined the club in August 2023, this marks his second full year, and the organization couldn't be more thrilled about his continued development on the left flank.

Chicago Fire FC Agrees to Transfer Forward Georgios Koutsias to FC Lugano
December 13, 2025 - CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced that the Club has agreed to permanently transfer forward Georgios Koutsias to FC Lugano. Koutsias originally joined FC Lugano in January on loan.
"We would like to thank Georgios for his contributions to the Fire during his time with the Club and are thrilled that he has found a place at FC Lugano," said Chicago Fire FC Director of Football and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter. "This transfer allows us to keep building on a good 2025 to put together a stronger roster for 2026."

Chicago Fire FC Transfers Homegrown Midfielder Brian Gutiérrez to Historic Mexican Side Club Deportivo Guadalajara
December 12, 2025 - CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced that the Club has transferred Chicago native and Homegrown midfielder Brian Gutiérrez to LigaMX side Club Deportivo Guadalajara for a multi-million-dollar transfer fee. Additionally, in the event that Chivas permanently transfers Gutiérrez, the Fire will retain a percentage of any future transfer fee.

Sounders FC Claims Goalkeeper Max Anchor off End-Of-Year Waivers
December 12, 2025 - SEATTLE, WASH. - Sounders FC today claimed goalkeeper Max Anchor off of End-of-Year Waivers. The 21-year-old has spent his entire career with Vancouver Whitecaps FC, coming up through the club's developmental system before signing with the First Team at the start of the 2023 season. The selection now gives Seattle the ability to extend a contract offer to Anchor. In the event Seattle and Anchor do not agree to terms on a contract, Sounders FC retains the right of first refusal on the player.
