Five Mavericks Players Invited to AHL Training Camps

September 23, 2019 - INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Kansas City Mavericks Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations John-Scott Dickson announced Friday the team had a total of five players invited to AHL training camps. Forwards Michael Parks and Jack Walker and defensemen Justin Woods and Neal Goff have received invites to the Mavericks' AHL affiliate Stockton Heat's training camp this week in Stockton, California. September 3, 2019 - INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Kansas City Mavericks Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations John-Scott Dickson announced Tuesday that the club re-signed defenseman Brett Beauvais to a standard player contract for the 2019-20 season. Beauvais, a five-foot-11, 185-pounder from Summerside, Prince Edward Island appeared in 30 games for the Mavericks in his rookie season in 2018-19. Mavericks Send VanWormer and Sherbinin's Rights to Norfolk for Nogard's Rights and Futures

August 30, 2019 - INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Kansas City Mavericks Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations John-Scott Dickson announced Friday the club traded the rights to forward Jared VanWormer and defenseman Brayden Sherbinin to the Norfolk Admirals for forward Luke Nogard and future considerations. Nogard, a six-foot-one, 212-pound forward from Mississauga, Ontario turned in an impressive rookie season for the Admirals last season, scoring 16 goals and assisting on 22 for 38 points with 104 penalty minutes in 65 games.
