June 23, 2026 - GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars (17-15) were unable to solve Gary SouthShore starter Matt Reitz (3-1) on Friday night, falling 3-1 to the RailCats (17-16) in the opener of a three-game series at Northwestern Medicine Field. Gary grabbed an early lead in the first inning. Explorers Shut out Cougars in Series Opener in 3-0 Victory

June 19, 2026 - GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars (16-14) dropped their fifth consecutive game on Friday night at Northwestern Medicine Field, falling 3-0 to the Sioux City Explorers (15-18) in the opener of a three-game series. Sioux City struck quickly against Konnor Ash (3-4), scoring twice in the first inning. Austin Davis singled on the first pitch of the game and later scored on an RBI single by Braulio Vazquez.
