May 31, 2026 - GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars (10-5) continued their strong start to the season on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Lincoln Saltdogs (5-11) 4-0 at Northwestern Medicine Field to secure their fifth consecutive series victory to open the year. The Cougars wasted little time providing support for Westin Muir (2-1), scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning against Lincoln starter Graham Edwards (0-1). Saltdogs Even Series Behind Dominant Start from Erbe

May 30, 2026 - GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars (9-5) were held in check for much of Saturday night as the Lincoln Saltdogs (5-10) earned a 5-2 victory at Northwestern Medicine Field to even the series at one game apiece. Lincoln struck first in the opening inning against Vin Timpanelli (1-2). May 29, 2026 - GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars (9-4) opened their series against the Lincoln Saltdogs (4-10) with a convincing 12-3 victory on Friday night at Northwestern Medicine Field. The Cougars jumped in front early and never looked back behind a strong start from Ben Kowalski (1-0) and a balanced offensive attack that produced 15 hits, tying a season high. May 28, 2026 - GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars (8-4) secured another series victory on Thursday night at Northwestern Medicine Field, defeating the Sioux Falls Canaries (9-4) by a final score of 5-2 in the rubber game of a matchup between the American Association's division leaders.
