January 21, 2026 - CHICAGO - MLS NEXT Pro and Chicago Fire FC II today announced the Club's 28-game schedule for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro regular season. Chicago Fire II's fifth season will begin with a road match against Inter Miami CF II on Friday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. CT. The team will remain in the Sunshine State for a tilt against Orlando City B on Sunday, March 8, before returning to Chicago to open the home portion of the schedule against Chattanooga FC on Sunday, March 15 at 3 p.m. CT. December 10, 2025 - CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC II today announced that the Club has signed Chicago Fire Academy goalkeeper Jason Nemo Jr. to an MLS NEXT Pro contract through 2027. Financial terms were not disclosed. Nemo becomes the third Chicago Fire Academy player to sign directly with Chicago Fire II, joining Vitaliy Hlyut and Darris Hyte, highlighting the player development pathway from the Academy to the professional ranks. November 26, 2025 - CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC II today announced that former Chicago Fire and U.S. Men's National Team defender Omar González has been named as an assistant coach. González's role as an assistant coach will include helping to guide the team that connects the player pathway from the Chicago Fire Academy to the first team. October 26, 2025 - Montclair, N.J. - Chicago Fire FC II fell 5-3 in added extra time against New York Red Bulls II in the Eastern Conference Semifinals of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs at MSU Soccer Park. Forward Jason Shokalook recorded a playoff brace for the first time in Chicago Fire II history, preceding midfielder Sam Williams' first goal with the team.
