May 16, 2026 - (Oconomowoc, WI) The Gary SouthShore RailCats entered Saturday in Oconomowoc 0-1 after dropping game one of the season 12-4. But with Peyton Long taking the hill against Connor Fenlong, the 'Cats looked to even the series. Six Lake Country Homers Sinks RailCats

May 15, 2026 - (Oconomowoc, WI) After 257 days, the Gary SouthShore RailCats were back in action to start the 2026 season against the East Division Regular Season Champions from the year prior, the Lake Country DockHounds. Deyni Olivero started his second straight opening day for the RailCats and in the second inning Joshua Mears hit a lead-off home run to make it 1-0. RailCats Finalize 2026 Opening Day Roster

May 15, 2026 - (Gary, IN) The Gary SouthShore RailCats are a day away from kick starting the 2026 American Association season, today Field Manager Jeff Isom finalized his roster before they head to Lake Country to face the East Division Champion DockHounds. Isom enters his first full season as the leader of the club after taking over the team midway through the season. RailCats Strike Trade with York for Two Pitchers

May 6, 2026 - (Gary, IN) The Gary SouthShore RailCats have added two more arms to their pitching staff for the 2026 season. In a trade with the Atlantic League's York Revolution, left-handed Dawson Lane and right-hander Alonzo Richardson were acquired. Dawson Lane is a 26-year-old from Lakeland, Florida. After pitching at Montreat College he would transfer to Florida Southern and in his final year he had a 2.07 ERA with 60 strikeouts in 61.0 innings.
