Bandits Ink Jocelyn Erickson to Rookie Contract

May 29, 2026 - Florida Gators catcher Jocelyn Erickson signed with the Chicago Bandits on Friday. Erickson was the team's first selection in the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League College Draft. Erickson has been the mainstay for the Florida Gators for three seasons. Her well-rounded skills earned her the 2024 NFCA Division I Player of the Year award and SEC Player of the Year. Ailana Agbayani Signs with the Chicago Bandits

May 28, 2026 - Oklahoma infielder Ailana Agbayani will continue her softball career with the Chicago Bandits after signing a rookie contract on Thursday. Agbayani was the team's third selection in the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League College Draft. Agbayani has been Oklahoma's everyday second baseman for two seasons. She also played shortstop at BYU before transferring. She earned the 2025 Rawlings Gold Glove award last year at second base with a .989 fielding percentage. May 27, 2026 - The Chicago Bandits signed their first rookie for the 2026 season, adding Stanford infielder Taryn Kern. Kern was the team's second pick in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League College Draft earlier this month. Kern has been the everyday second baseman for the Cardinal the past three seasons. In her senior campaign, she posted her best offensive numbers with the program, batting .385 with a .897 slugging percentage and 1.428 OPS. Last year, she tied a program record with 19 home runs.
