Lowary Signs Historic Deal with BreakThrew Fastpitch

January 9, 2019 - NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Chicago Bandits pitcher Paige Lowary became the first NPF player to agree to an On-Player Ad Location (OPAL) partnership, league officials announced Wednesday afternoon after the left-hander signed with BreakThrew Fastpitch for the duration of the 2019 season. National Pro Fastpitch launched the OPAL program in December. It is designed to subsidize player salaries with at least 90 percent of the revenue paid directly to the athletes themselves. Carda Named to 2019 U.S. Women's National Team Roster

January 7, 2019 - ROSEMONT, Ill. - Chicago Bandits pitcher/infielder Ally Carda has been named to the 2019 U.S. Women's National Team roster, USA Softball announced Monday morning. Carda, who signed with the Bandits as a free agent Jan. 12, 2018, posted impressive figures throughout her first season in Chicago. The former UCLA standout delivered 43.2 innings of work in the circle and sported a minuscule 1.60 ERA. December 16, 2018 - ROSEMONT, Ill. - The Chicago Bandits have signed right fielder Emily Crane to a one-year extension, team officials announced Sunday morning. December 15, 2018 - ROSEMONT, Ill. - The Chicago Bandits have acquired former All-American infielder Jenna Lilley, along with the No. 1 overall selection in the 2019 NPF Draft and cash considerations, from the Cleveland Comets in exchange for Emily Carosone, Sammy Marshall and Shelby Turnier, team officials announced Saturday afternoon.
