Chicago Bandits Announce Two Series 4 Events for 2020 NPF Season

September 6, 2019 - ROSEMONT, Ill. -The Chicago Bandits announced today, two Series Events for the 2020 National Pro Fastpitch season. The league announced the outline for the brand new format of multi-team events in late August and Chicago's announcement of two premier June events are the first of their kind. The new multi-team format will include a minimum of three teams per Series Event. August 11, 2019 - Rosemont, Ill. - Gwen Svekis hit a walk off double to help the Chicago Bandits (38-7) survive their 6-5 victory over the USSSA Pride (32-13) on Sunday. The Bandits held a 3-2 lead entering the seventh inning before the Pride surged ahead in the top of the inning. Bandits Defeat Pride to Extend Winning Streak to 15 on Bandit Legends Night

August 10, 2019 - Rosemont, Ill. - After an opening ceremony of Tammy Williams and Amber Patton having their numbers retired, the Chicago Bandits (37-7) secured a 6-2 victory over the USSSA Pride (32-12) on Saturday. Williams spent six seasons as a Bandit, winning 2009 Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. She tallied 252 hits on 802 at bats for a .314 career batting average. Bandits Win Regular Season Title

August 7, 2019 - Rosemont, Il. - It only took five innings for the Bandits to defeat the Beijing Eagles, 9-1, on Wednesday night. With the victory and a loss by the USSSA Pride, the Bandits clinched the regular season title for the first time since 2013. The Eagles pitchers were unable to silence the bats of the Bandits, who scored nine runs on ten hits.
