Zabierek Signs One-Year Contract Extension

December 23, 2025 - CHICAGO, Il. - The Chicago Hounds announced Tuesday the team agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with hooker Jackson Zabierek. The 25-year-old first signed with the Hounds last January and was an immediate bolster to the forward pack. During his first season in Chicago, Zabierek appeared in 12 contests and made one start, a Week 17 win over the Houston Sabercats. Hounds Sign 2021 First-Round Draft Pick

December 22, 2025 - CHICAGO, Il. - The Hounds announced on Monday they bolstered their forward pack for 2026 by agreeing to terms with flanker Emmanuel Albert. Albert, 26, spent his first four MLR seasons with the Sabercats after being selected by Houston with the second pick in the 2021 draft out of Lindenwood University. The 6-4, 250-pounder joins the Hounds having started 16 of his 17 appearances in 2025. December 19, 2025 - CHICAGO, Il. - The Hounds secured the signing of promising US prospect Brandon Harvey on a two-year deal, the team announced today. The 6'6", 250 pound lock makes the move to Chicago after spending the previous two seasons in Southern California with the Legion. December 18, 2025 - CHICAGO, Il. - The Chicago Hounds have agreed to terms with loosehead prop Jake Turnbull on a one-year deal, the team announced today. Turnbull, 6-2 and 260 pounds, joins the Hounds after spending the previous two seasons with the Carolina Anthem.
