Hounds Name 2025 Fall Performance Squad

September 17, 2025 - CHICAGO, Il.- The Chicago Hounds announced today their Autumn Performance Squad for the 2025 fall season. This Performance Squad, formerly known as the Chicago Hounds Senior Academy, assembles today with an initial roster of 18 athletes. Hounds Thrilled with 2025 Draft Selections

August 26, 2025 - The Chicago Hounds walked away from the 2025 Major League Rugby College Draft with three talented up-and-coming prospects. Chicago selected a loosehead prop in the first round before taking two promising outside backs in Rounds 2 and 3. August 11, 2025 - When Peyton Wall got his chance with the Chicago Hounds in 2025, you can certainly say that the wing took it. From seven Major League Rugby appearances in his debut season, the 10th overall pick of the 2024 Collegiate Draft, he scored three tries. He also made 572 meters from 50 carries. Twenty-one of those carries were dominant. Plus, he beat 32 defenders. This brilliant flurry from the year one wing landed him Rookie of the Year in the league's End of Season Awards. Mac Jones Wins Pair of Awards

July 14, 2025 - Flanker Mac Jones earned a pair of awards to conclude the 2025 season. The MLR veteran won both the Player of the Year Award and the Players' Player of the Year Award. The Players' Player of the Year award is decided by a vote amongst the players themselves and is considered as one of the highest end of season honors.
