November 24, 2025 - The Sussex County Miners are proud to announce their 2026 alter ego-the Sons of Liberty-to commemorate the United States' upcoming 250th anniversary.
In honor of the nation's semiquincentennial, the Miners will take the field as the Sons of Liberty on four Alter Ego nights during the 2026 season, paying tribute to the spirit of independence, unity, and rebellion that shaped America's founding.

Bobby M. Jones to the organization as Field Manager for the 2026 season. Reinforcing the
team's commitment to building a club that reflects the energy, history, and diversity of
Paterson, Passaic County and North Jersey.
A New Jersey native and respected baseball veteran, Jones previously led the Jackals in
2022, guiding the team as General Manager during its move to historic Hinchliffe Stadium.

November 18, 2025 - Ottawa, ON - The Ottawa Titans Baseball Club announced today that they have agreed to terms on contracts with right-handed pitchers Heitor Tokar and Grant Garza for the upcoming 2026 Frontier League season.
Tokar, 25, makes his way back to the independent circuit after two seasons in the American Association as a member of the Sioux City Explorers.
