December 5, 2025 - TROY, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats announced their latest Building the Roster Update presented by Curtis Lumber, headlined by 2025 All-Star 3B Ian Walters, who is returning for his fourth season. Tri-City also handed extensions to the following players: RHP Austin Dill, RHP Gino Sabatine, OF Dylan Broderick, INF Josh Leslie, INF Amani Larry, RHP Nate Nabholz, UTL Jancarlos Colon, C Ranko Stevanovic, and OF David Glancy. November 20, 2025 - TROY, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats have announced that Field Manager Greg Tagert has been extended through the 2028 season. 2026 will mark the third year Tagert has been at the helm with Tri-City. ValleyCats Announce Firework Dates for 2026 Season

November 12, 2025 - TROY, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats have announced the dates of their fireworks shows at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium for the 2026 season. The first of 15 fireworks shows takes place on Opening Night on May 15th against the Québec Capitales. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM. The schedule also includes the 24th consecutive season of hosting fireworks and baseball on July 4th, with Tri-City taking on the Brockton Rox. November 7, 2025 - TROY, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats have announced that they have signed two local players: OF Aaron Whitley and LHP Luis Misla. The first Building the Roster update of the 2025-26 offseason is brought to you by Curtis Lumber. Whitley attended Niskayuna High School and earned Times Union 1st Team Honors in baseball and football.
