New York-Penn League Announces 2020 Season Schedule

August 30, 2019 - TROY, NY - The New York-Penn League announced their 2020 season schedule on Friday, and the Tri-City ValleyCats, an affiliate of the Houston Astros, will begin their campaign with a six-game road trip to Vermont and Connecticut from June 18 to 23. The ValleyCats' home opener at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium is set for Wednesday, June 24 as they begin a six game homestand vs. the Williamsport Crosscuters (Phillies) June 24-26 and Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets) June 27-29. 'Cats Drop Series Finale to Brooklyn, Enter All-Star Break

August 20, 2019 - BROOKLYN, NY - The 'Cats dropped the final game of the series to the Brooklyn Cyclones on Monday night by a final score of 5-0, and now enter a late season two-day All-Star break. Tri-City couldn't plate a run in the contest against a Cyclones pitching staff that struck out a combined 10 ValleyCats batters. August 13, 2019 - NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers defeated the Tri-City ValleyCats by a final score of 2-0 on Tuesday night, a game that saw just six hits between the two clubs. The Tigers two runs came from a sacrifice fly in the second and RBI double in the sixth inning. Brewer Hits First Pro Homer as 'Cats Defeat Tigers 7-5

August 12, 2019 - NORWICH, CT - ValleyCats outfielder and Houston Astros' third round pick in the 2019 MLB Draft, Jordan Brewer smashed his first professional home run on Monday to cap a three homer night for the 'Cats, as they defeated Connecticut 7-5 at Dodd Stadium.
