November 12, 2025 - TROY, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats have announced the dates of their fireworks shows at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium for the 2026 season. The first of 15 fireworks shows takes place on Opening Night on May 15th against the Québec Capitales. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM.

Whitley attended Niskayuna High School and earned Times Union 1st Team Honors in baseball and football. He spent time with the University of Rochester as an undergraduate, and as a grad student he suited up for the University of Richmond. Tri-City struck in the first. Chris Burgess singled off Ruben Ramirez. Oscar Campos doubled in a run to put the ValleyCats on top, 1-0.

Tri-City opened the scoring for the second consecutive night. Oscar Campos and Ian Walters singled off Masatoshi Sakurai in the second. Josh Leslie grounded out and both runners moved up 90 feet. Javeyan Williams went to first on a dropped third strike, and Campos came around on a wild pitch to give the ValleyCats a 1-0 lead.
