Final - Thunder Come up Empty in 5-2 Loss to Mariners

December 14, 2018 - PORTLAND, ME - The Adirondack Thunder turned a 3-0 deficit into a 3-2 game, but that's as close as they would get as they dropped Friday night's tilt to the Maine Mariners 5-2 at Cross Insurance Arena. Maine jumped out to a 3-0 lead just 5:34 into the game with goals from Ryan Gropp, Alex Kile and Drew Melanson. Gropp scored 81 seconds into the game when he fired a bad-angle shot from the bottom of the left circle up and over Alex Sakellaropoulos' right shoulder for a 1-0 Mariners lead. Brian Ward Recalled to AHL's Binghamton Devils

December 12, 2018 - Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that forward Brian Ward has been recalled from his loan to the American Hockey League's Binghamton Devils. Ward, 26, is set to make his 2018-2019 AHL debut after skating in 19 games for the Thunder thus far. Defenseman Desmond Bergin Returns from Second AHL Stint

December 11, 2018 - GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that defenseman Desmond Bergin has been released from his PTO with the AHL's Providence Bruins. Bergin, 25, skated in four games with the P-Bruins in his second recall of the season, giving him a total of six American League games played this year. December 8, 2018 - GLENS FALLS, NY - After Peter MacArthur was tripped up in the offensive zone, Beast forward Jackson Leef took the puck the length of the ice and slid a shot past Alex Sakellaropoulos to give Brampton a 5-4 overtime victory at Cool Insuring Arena Saturday night. MacArthur maintained offensive-zone possession in the 3-on-3 session before he had his feet taken out from under him that led to the Brampton 2-on-1 rush where Leef ended the game.
