September 18, 2026 - GLENS FALLS - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and Utica Comets, announced that the club has signed forward Lucas Helland to a standard player contract for the 2026-27 season. Helland, 25, played 26 games last season with the Iowa Heartlanders and Rapid City Rush and recorded one point and 48 penalty minutes. Thunder Sign Defenseman Jordan Klimek

September 15, 2026 - GLENS FALLS - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and Utica Comets, announced that the club has signed defenseman Jordan Klimek to a standard player contract for the 2026-27 season. Klimek, 31, played the last two seasons with the South Carolina Stingrays and recorded 14 points (8g, 6a) in 74 games with a +22 rating. Thunder Add Forward Jarrett Lee

September 10, 2026 - GLENS FALLS - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and Utica Comets, announced that the club has signed forward Jarrett Lee to a standard player contract for the 2026-27 season. Lee, 27, joins the Thunder after splitting last season between the Orlando Solar Bears and Indy Fuel. In 45 total games, the Hibbing, Minnesota native had 26 points (9g, 17a) and 26 penalty minutes. Barry Melrose: 1956 - 2026

September 10, 2026 - The Adirondack Thunder organization is saddened to learn about the passing of Barry Melrose. Melrose's name is hard to miss throughout Adirondack hockey history. After five seasons in the NHL with Winnipeg and Toronto, Melrose began the 1983-84 season in Detroit before making his Adirondack debut on January 7, 1984 against the Sherbrooke Jets. He spent parts of four seasons on the blue line with Adirondack, playing over 200 games for the Wings. He was on the Calder Cup-winning roster in 1986, though he missed the playoffs... Full Story
