Adirondack Ends Road Trip with Point in Cincinnati

February 17, 2019 - CINCINNATI, OH - Mike Szmatula scored twice and John Edwardh chipped in three assists but the Adirondack Thunder fell by a 5-4 (OT) final Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati. Cyclones forward Jesse Schultz completed the comeback in overtime for Cincinnati, which trailed by a pair of goals in the game's final minutes. Arvin Atwal and Eric Knodel recorded regulation tallies, the latter coming as Cincinnati was shorthanded and had their goaltender pulled before Schultz' overtime tally won it for the Cyclones. February 16, 2019 - KALAMAZOO, MI - Mike Szmatula scored just 61 seconds into the game but that's all the offense Adirondack could muster in a 4-1 loss to Kalamazoo at Wings Events Center Saturday evening. Szmatula wasted no time getting the scoring started as he potted the first shot of the game from either side. John Edwardh chased a puck into the offensive zone and left a drop pass for Matt Salhany. Thunder Use Five First-Period Goals to Blast Komets 8-2

February 15, 2019 - FORT WAYNE, IN - The Adirondack Thunder saw eight goals from seven different skaters, Alex Sakellaropoulos won for the 11th time in his past 12 starts and the Thunder blasted the Fort Wayne Komets by an 8-1 final Friday night at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Jason Binkley scored a shorthanded goal three minutes into the game to give Fort Wayne a 1-0 lead. The Adirondack Thunder dominated the remainder. Goaltender Evan Cormier Recalled from Loan to Thunder

February 15, 2019 - GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced this afternoon that goaltender Evan Cormier has been recalled from his loan to the Thunder from the AHL's Binghamton Devils. Cormier, 21, appeared in five games for the Thunder, finishing with a 1-4-0 record to pair with a 3.89 goals-against average and .871 save percentage.
