Albany Dance Team Selected Tonight at Jupiter Hall

February 15, 2018 - ALBANY, NY- The Albany Empire of the Arena Football League hosted their Dance Team Finals event tonight at Jupiter Hall inside of Lucky Strike at Crossgates Mall. In addition to selecting the team members, the Empire also announced the name of the Dance Team as, "The Albany Empresses." The 22 dancers that made it through auditions, boot camp and business style interviews auditioned in one final event to make the Albany Empresses. August 2, 2017 - ALBANY, N.Y.- Led by Russ Olive's (UMass Lowell) three-run triple, the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs rallied back from a 3-1 deficit to eliminate the Albany Dutchmen, winning 4-3 and advancing to the next round of playoff play. July 31, 2017 - LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. - On the final day of the regular season the Dutchmen secured the two seed in the Eastern Division of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) and a home playoff game Tuesday at Siena Field with first pitch set for 5:05 p.m. The Dutchmen took down the Diamond Dawgs in a continuation game from July 26 th 18-3 and beat the Dawgs again 10-4 in the regularly scheduled contest Monday on the road. July 17, 2017 - ALBANY, N.Y.- Using stellar pitching and just enough offense, the Albany Dutchmen (22-13) ended the last game before the All-Star break on a high note, defeating the Saugerties Stallions (15-20) by the final score of 6-0.
