Sprint Car Champions Ryan Timms and Shane Liebig to Drop Ceremonial Puck on Friday

October 21, 2025 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.) - The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced today that sprint car champions Ryan Timms and Shane Liebig, of Rapid City-based Liebig Motorsports, will drop the puck ahead of Friday's home opener. The driver-owner combination took home the title at the 2025 Knoxville Nationals, 'The Granddaddy of Them All' in sprint car racing, in Knoxville, Iowa. October 19, 2025 - GLENS FALLS - Brannon McManus recorded two goals and Tyler Brennan stopped 23 shots as the Adirondack Thunder defeated the Worcester Railers in the first game of the season, 5-3, in front of 4,414 at DCU Center. Adirondack opened the scoring just 2:51 into the game as Dylan Wendt took a pass from Brian Carrabes and fired a wrist shot by the pad of goaltender Henrik Tikkanen. October 18, 2025 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.) - The Rapid City Rush earned their first win of the season- and for their new head coach- in a 5-2 triumph over the Kansas City Mavericks at Cable Dahmer Arena on Saturday. After not leading in last night's opener, the Rush never trailed tonight. After a scoreless first period, the Rush offense exploded in the second. October 17, 2025 - (RAPID CITY, SD)- In a nip-and-tuck game, the Rapid City Rush fell to the Kansas City Mavericks, 3-2, at Cable Dahmer Arena on Friday. In a game that saw the Mavericks take three one-goal leads, the Rush never seemed far behind or out of it. Blake Bennett scored an equalizer in the first period.
