Matt Hubbarde Traded to Bloomington

December 28, 2025 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.)- The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced Sunday, in an Active Life Chiropractic roster adjustment, the Rush have traded forward Matt Hubbarde to the Bloomington Bison in exchange for future considerations. Hubbarde, 25, was acquired in a trade from the Iowa Heartlanders on October 31st. He skated in 21 games with the Rush, scored one goal and totaled five points. ECHL, PHPA Reach Tenative Deal on New Collective Bargaining Agreement

December 27, 2025 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.)- The Rapid City Rush, in conjunction with the ECHL and PHPA, announced Saturday that a tentative deal has been reached on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The tentative agreement remains subject to ratification by the PHPA's ECHL membership and approval by the ECHL Board of Governors. December 27, 2025 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.)- The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced today that the team's home game on Sunday, December 28th against the Tahoe Knight Monsters has been postponed as a result of the PHPA player strike. All ticketholders for the December 28th game will have the opportunity to exchange their tickets for a future game.
