April 2, 2026 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.) - The Rapid City Rush (27-32-6) were shut out by the Tulsa Oilers (22-37-5), 5-0, at The Monument Ice Arena on Wednesday. Tulsa scored three times in the second period and twice more in the third. Dylan Fitze recorded a hat trick for the Oilers, his first multi-goal game since the 2023-24 season. Braden Birnie Signs PTO with Abbotsford Canucks

April 1, 2026 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.) - The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced Wednesday, in an Active Life Chiropractic roster adjustment, Braden Birnie is joining the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks on a Professional Tryout contract (PTO). Birnie, 24, signed with the Rush on March 9th and has impressed in his first month of professional hockey. The 6-foot-3, 192-pound winger has recorded six points (2g+4a) in his first nine pro games. March 30, 2026 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.) - The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced Monday, in an Active Life Chiropractic roster adjustment, the team has signed Sean Strange to a Standard Player Contract. Strange, 26, signs his first professional contract after five seasons at the University of Calgary.
