May 31, 2026 - Avon, OH - The Lake Erie Crushers (11-10) stole the final game of the series from the Washington Wild Things (14-7). The Crushers shutout the visitors from Pennsylvania with the help of not just tremendous starting pitching, but excellent power from their bats in a 6-0 final.

RHP Fraynel Nova pitched a great game on Saturday night, but he was stifled by a controversial call in the top of the 3rd. RF EJ Cumbo grounded a routine ball to SS Jarrod Watkins, who threw to first in time. Cumbo was called safe, despite fairly clearly being out, and the Wild Things took advantage. May 30, 2026 - Avon, OH - The Carnival is coming back to ForeFront Field! From June 10-14, enjoy fun carnival rides, games, special shows, and concessions. The event will take place outside in the paved parking lot outside ForeFront Field at 2009 Baseball Blvd in Avon, Ohio.
Day passes are $25 for weekdays and $30 for the weekend. Parking is free, and $5 general admission tickets are available.

May 29, 2026 - Avon, OH - The Lake Erie Crushers (10-9) suffered defeat in the opening game of the series against the Washington Wild Things (13-6) on Friday. Washington took game one to the tune of a 10-4 final at ForeFront Field.
Southpaw LHP Nathan Shinn got the start for Lake Erie, whose night started with early trouble. Washington loaded the bases early, but Shinn only surrendered a run via a balk in the top of the 1st.
