February 27, 2026 - (AKRON, OHIO) - The Akron RubberDucks announce the 2026 promotional schedule presented by MCA of Akron/UA Local 219, which once again features a theme for all 69 regular season home games. The RubberDucks open the 2026 season at 7 17 Credit Union Park on Thursday, April 2 at 6:35 p.m. against the Reading Fightin Phils. After 26 Years in the Minor Leagues, RubberDucks' Pfander Gets Call to the Majors

February 25, 2026 - (AKRON, OHIO) - The Akron RubberDucks announced today that President and General Manager Jim Pfander will depart at the end of May to join the Tampa Bay Rays front office staff. Pfander, who started his professional baseball career interning in the Cleveland Indians broadcasting department in 2000, gets the call back up to the Major Leagues after over 26 years in Minor League Baseball.
