November 9, 2025 - WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, are ecstatic to announce that goaltender Sergei Murashov has become the 70th former Nailer/Thunderbird to reach the National Hockey League. Murashov made his NHL debut on Sunday afternoon with the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena against the Los Angeles Kings. Nailers Sweep Gargoyles for 500th Road Win

November 8, 2025 - GREENSBORO, NC - The Wheeling Nailers added a couple of new items to the history books on Saturday night, as they finished off a three-game sweep of the Greensboro Gargoyles at First Horizon Coliseum. Wheeling earned its sixth straight win for its first 7-1-0 start in team history, which was also the 500th road win in the club's 34-year history. November 7, 2025 - GREENSBORO, NC- Friday night was a bit on the wild side for the Wheeling Nailers and Greensboro Gargoyles at First Horizon Coliseum. However, the Nailers came away with smiles on their faces, as they secured their fifth straight victory and sixth in seven games to start the season. November 6, 2025 - GREENSBORO, NC - The Wheeling Nailers took on a brand new opponent for the first time on Thursday night, as they took on the expansion Greensboro Gargoyles at First Horizon Coliseum.
