Columbus Lions to Partner with AthELITE Scouting for the 2019 Season

September 19, 2018 - Kansas City, MO - AthELITE Scouting has announced a new partner in the Columbus Lions out of the National Arena League for the 2019 season. The Lions have reached the championship game in each of the NAL's first two seasons and have agreed to terms with AthELITE Scouting to expand their reach to talent in the Midwest and beyond. September 8, 2018 - The Columbus Lions, seeking their 5th straight championship appearance, have kicked-off the 2019 campaign with the announcement of the first tryout for the 2019 roster. Lions' Hicks Selected as NAL Offensive Rookie of the Year

September 5, 2018 - Columbus Lions fullback Quayvon Hicks has been named the 2018 NAL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Hicks, honored with a 1st team all-NAL selection earlier in the week, terrorized defenses throughout the year with his unique blend of speed, power, and blocking ability. The former Georgia Bulldog lead the NAL in rushing yards per game at 25.4 yards and 12 touchdowns, while rushing the ball 81 times and being apart an offensive line unit that allowed 19 sacks the entire season - good for 2nd in the NAL. Lions' Espinosa Tabbed as NAL Offensive Player of the Year

September 4, 2018 - Columbus Lions quarterback Mason Espinosa has been awarded the 2018 NAL Offensive Player of the Year. Espinosa posted a career season with an astounding 11-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio, leading the NAL. Espinosa was at or near the top of every major statistical category for the 2018 season.
