Cobras Announce 2018 Training Camp Schedule

March 20, 2018 - GREENSBORO- The Carolina Cobras announced their 2018 Training Camp Schedule. Players will report Thursday, March 22 which will be followed by two days of physicals and camp will kickoff Friday, March 25th. Camp will run from March 25-31. March 8, 2018 - Greensboro- LaQuan McGowan (6'7, 410) signs with the Carolina Cobras for his first year of arena football. McGowan played tight end and offensive lineman for Baylor University from 2011-2015. During his junior season in 2014, McGowan helped the Bears achieve a Big 12 Championship and was selected as a tight end on Sports Illustrated's 2015 All-Bowl team. March 8, 2018 - GREENSBORO- Marquez Gollman (5'11, 190) signs with the Carolina Cobras for his first year of arena football. Gollman played college football at Grand Valley State University from 2012-2016. Before Grand Valley State, Gollman spent one season playing football in JUCO at Grand Rapids Community College. During the 2014 season, Gollman finished the year with 40 tackles, six tackles for loss and three interceptions. March 8, 2018 - GREENSBORO- Craig Peterson (6'3, 220) signs with the Carolina Cobras for his fourth year of arena football. Peterson previously played for the Tampa Bay Storm from 2015-2016 and the Spokane Empire in 2017. During the 2015 season, Peterson was 85 for 98 in kicking attempts, 4 for 6 in field goal attempts and was responsible for 97 points for the Storm in 2015.
