Frontier League Batting King, Postseason All Star DH Tyreque Reed Signs Extension

FL Washington Wild Things December 6, 2024 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have re-signed and extended the contract of slugging first baseman and designated hitter Tyreque Reed, who became the first Wild Thing ever to win the Frontier League batting title in 2024, his first season with the club. Reed signed a 2025 player contract, inking him to a deal that provides Washington a team option for the 2026 season. FL Washington Wild Things December 3, 2024 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have announced the contract extension of infielder Ethan Wilder, making him the first returning player to re-sign with the club with a new contract for the 2025 season. FL Washington Wild Things November 20, 2024 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things are thrilled to announce the signing of right hander Alex Carrillo by the New York Mets organization. Carrillo, who was pitching for Tigres de Aragua in the Venezuelan Winter League, was on a one-year deal with the Wild Things in 2024. He'll be assigned to Triple-A Syracuse.
