Trevor Casanova Set to Bolster 2021 Wild Things' Roster

October 20, 2020 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - Today the Wild Things announced the signing of former Minnesota Twins' farmhand Trevor Casanova to a deal for the 2021 season. Casanova, a catcher, last played in 2019 for the Cedar Rapids Kernels, the Midwest League (A) affiliate of the Twins. In 2019 between two teams, Casanova slashed .210/.289/.333 with four homers and 23 RBI while throwing out 12 of 39 would-be base stealers in 29 games behind the dish for the Kernels. State College Native Spencer Bivens Inks Deal for 2021

October 13, 2020 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Wild Things have added another pitcher to the 2021 roster, as today the team announced the acquisition of State College, Pennsylvania native Spencer Bivens. Bivens becomes the second pitcher announced to next year's roster. The right hander pitched for the Steel City Slammin' Sammies during pod play at Wild Things Park this past summer. October 6, 2020 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The 2021 Wild Things roster continued to grow today as the team announced the signing of outfielder Nate Thompson, who played for the Baseball Brilliance Sox during pod play in 2020 at Wild Things Park after starting his pro career in the Pecos League in 2019. Thompson, a mainstay in centerfield for the Sox this past summer, appeared in and started in 18 games for PJ Phillips' squad. September 29, 2020 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - Another Tuesday has come around, and the Washington Wild Things have announced another addition to the 2021 roster, as today the team announced the signing of infielder Nick Ward, a former standout for West Chester University and Pennsylvania native.
