(June 23) - The Wild Things scored in five different innings and got hits in big spots Sunday, en route to a 6-4 win over the Windy City ThunderBolts to earn their second sweep of the season. Washington started the scoring on the third pitch of the game when Blake Adams hit his fifth home run of the season. June 21, 2019 - CRESTWOOD, Il. - The Wild Things collected eight extra-base hits of the 12 hits they had in Friday's series opener against the ThunderBolts in Crestwood, as they pounced on the Bolts from the first pitch and ended up winning 10-5 to take the opener. Of the eight extra-base hits, Washington collected five doubles and three triples, both of which are season highs. (June 20) - With Washington up 1-0 with one out in the bottom of the second of Thursday's rubber game, hard rain showers came and didn't let up, forcing the teams and umpires to suspend the contest.
