Wild Things Drop Both Games of Doubleheader

May 23, 2018 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things kicked off a six-game homestand on Wednesday by welcoming the Southern Illinois Miners for a doubleheader. The Miners pitching staff was dominant in both contests, with the visitors winning game one 4-0 and game two 3-2. The Wild Things managed just two runs and seven hits in the doubleheader. Wild Things Add Pitcher, Activate Bohn from DL

May 23, 2018 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have signed right-handed pitcher Jamal Wilson, the team announced this afternoon. The team also activated infielder Justin Bohn from the disabled list. With the two moves, the active roster now stands at 24. Wilson most recently played for the Florence Freedom in 2017, pitching 17.1 innings of relief and accumulating a 2-0 record.
